Every 12 weeks or so, take a week off from your weight training workouts. Give your body the rest it deserves for all of the hard work you’ve been doing. Resume feeling refreshed and energized!

This is really a great tip! You did not see this one coming, did you? After all, so far we have been all about intense exercise, challenging the body, etc. Well, the body needs some rest, too. So, every 12 weeks do yourself a favor and take a week off to allow your body to recover completely. After the week is over you would be able to restart exercising with new energy and aim for the next level.

Secret No11, the last one:

Try adding 1 High Intensity Interval Training session every week or two to keep your workout frequency at 3 times each week, in case it is usually at twice per week. This can provide added fat loss and cardiovascular conditioning benefits provided you are able to recover from the extra work.

What is High Intensity Interval Training, you might ask? This is training, which focuses solely on fat loss. As such would count intense play in your favorite competitive sport, such as basketball or racquetball, or shorts sprints alternated with fast walking. These workouts will allow your muscles some rest from heavy weights, but they would make sure that you burn as much fat as possible. Therefore, this secret is particularly recommended for those who are looking to burn fat.

Secret No12 (you did not see this one coming, did you?):

Take it one step at a time and always move forward – consistency is key!
